Spackle, done right the first time
Spackle and skim coat work is the last chance to catch every imperfection before paint makes it permanent. It's also the step most often rushed by crews trying to get to the next job — which is exactly why it's the step we don't rush.

- Sanding and final prep before primer
Why it matters
Under a bare bulb or raking window light, an under-finished wall shows every imperfection paint alone can't hide. We check our own work with a work light at a low angle before we call it done — the same way any flaw would show up in your finished room.
